Government of Andhra Pradesh – School Education Department has issued official instructions regarding the Role of Model Primary School Headmaster (MPSHM) to ensure smooth academic and administrative functioning in schools for the academic year 2025-26.

Role of MPS Headmaster – Key Instructions
a) Upper Primary School functioning in Model Primary School
Where MPSHM post is allotted and Upper Primary School is also functioning, the senior-most School Assistant in the Upper Primary Section shall act as the Headmaster of that school.
b) Upgraded High School without sanctioned Headmaster post
In Model Primary Schools upgraded to High School without Headmaster post, the senior-most School Assistant in the upgraded High School shall act as the Headmaster.
c) High School functioning along with Model Primary School
Where High School is also functioning, the Gr-II Headmaster in the High School shall act as the Headmaster of that school.
d) Teaching Duties
The MPS Headmaster / School Assistant in Model Primary School shall perform teaching duties on par with other teachers in Primary School.
Implementation Instructions
All Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers are instructed to take immediate necessary action to implement the above instructions and ensure smooth academic and administrative functioning in schools.

MPS హెడ్మాస్టర్ – ముఖ్య సూచనలు
a) అపర్ ప్రాథమిక విభాగం ఉన్న మోడల్ ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల
మోడల్ ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాలలో అపర్ ప్రాథమిక విభాగం ఉంటే, సీనియర్ మోస్ట్ స్కూల్ అసిస్టెంట్ ఆయా పాఠశాల హెడ్మాస్టర్గా వ్యవహరించాలి.
b) హెడ్మాస్టర్ పోస్టు లేని అప్గ్రేడెడ్ హై స్కూల్
హెడ్మాస్టర్ పోస్టు లేకుండా మోడల్ ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల హై స్కూల్గా అప్గ్రేడ్ అయితే, సీనియర్ మోస్ట్ స్కూల్ అసిస్టెంట్ హెడ్మాస్టర్గా పనిచేయాలి.
c) హై స్కూల్ మరియు మోడల్ ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాల ఒకే క్యాంపస్లో
హై స్కూల్ కూడా ఉన్నపుడు, గ్రేడ్-II హెడ్మాస్టర్ ఆయా పాఠశాల హెడ్మాస్టర్గా వ్యవహరించాలి.
d) బోధనా బాధ్యతలు
మోడల్ ప్రాథమిక పాఠశాలలోని MPS హెడ్మాస్టర్ / స్కూల్ అసిస్టెంట్ ఇతర ఉపాధ్యాయులతో సమానంగా బోధనా విధులు నిర్వహించాలి.
అమలు సూచనలు
అన్ని RJD మరియు DEO అధికారులు పై సూచనలను తక్షణమే అమలు చేసి పాఠశాలల్లో ఎటువంటి విద్యా లేదా పరిపాలనా అంతరాయం లేకుండా చూడాలని ఆదేశించారు.
