Andhra Pradesh School Administration Guidelines
Every Headmaster and Teacher in Andhra Pradesh must follow Andhra Education Rules (A.E.R) for effective school administration. Below are the most important A.E.R rules for easy reference.
Important A.E.R Rules
- A.E.R Rule 46(A): Minimum admission age for Class-1 is 5+ years as on 31st August of the admission year.
- A.E.R Rule 46(B): Admissions must be done through Annexure-10 application form.
- A.E.R Rule 42(C): Every school must function for exactly 220 working days in an academic year.
- A.E.R Rule 46(J): Record sheet must be maintained for students joining or leaving the school.
- A.E.R Rule 45: Students absent continuously for one month without leave can be removed from rolls.
- A.E.R Rule 35: Student attendance should be recorded during morning and afternoon first periods.
- A.E.R Rule 123(B): Teacher attendance must be maintained in Annexure-4 format.
- A.E.R Rule 33: Headmaster must prepare the General Time Table and display it in office and classrooms.
- Rc.No.527/E2/97 Dt:16-07-1997: All staff must attend school assembly. Late permissions are not applicable for teachers.
- A.E.R Rule 77: Minimum 24 periods must be allotted to each teacher per week.
- A.E.R Rule 99: Students joining from other states or countries on Transfer Certificate must obtain DEO countersignature.
- A.E.R Rule 124(A): Admission Register pages must be numbered. Serial numbers can be renewed periodically.

ప్రధాన A.E.R నిబంధనలు
- A.E.R Rule 46(A): ప్రవేశ సంవత్సరంలో ఆగస్టు 31 నాటికి 5+ సంవత్సరాల వయస్సు కలిగిన విద్యార్థులను ఒకటో తరగతిలో చేర్చాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 46(B): అనుబంధం-10 ప్రవేశ దరఖాస్తు ఫారమ్ ద్వారా ప్రవేశాలు నిర్వహించాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 42(C): ప్రతి పాఠశాల ఒక విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో ఖచ్చితంగా 220 పనిదినాలు కలిగి ఉండాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 46(J): పాఠశాల విడిచే లేదా చేరే విద్యార్థుల వివరాలకు రికార్డు షీటు నిర్వహించాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 45: ఒక నెల పాటు సెలవు లేకుండా హాజరు కాని విద్యార్థులను రోల్ నుండి తొలగించవచ్చు.
- A.E.R Rule 35: విద్యార్థుల హాజరును ఉదయం మరియు మధ్యాహ్నం మొదటి పీరియడ్లో నమోదు చేయాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 123(B): ఉపాధ్యాయుల హాజరును అనుబంధం-4 ఫారమ్లో నిర్వహించాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 33: ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు జనరల్ టైం టేబుల్ రూపొందించి ఆఫీస్ మరియు తరగతి గదుల్లో ప్రదర్శించాలి.
- Rc.No.527/E2/97 Dt:16-07-1997: ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు మరియు సిబ్బంది తప్పనిసరిగా పాఠశాల అసెంబ్లీకి హాజరుకావాలి. లేట్ పర్మిషన్లు ఉపాధ్యాయులకు వర్తించవు.
- A.E.R Rule 77: ప్రతి ఉపాధ్యాయునికి కనీసం 24 పీరియడ్లు కేటాయించాలి.
- A.E.R Rule 99: ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలు లేదా విదేశాల నుండి TC పై చేరే విద్యార్థులకు DEO కౌంటర్ సిగ్నేచర్ తప్పనిసరి.
- A.E.R Rule 124(A): అడ్మిషన్ రిజిస్టర్ పేజీలకు నెంబర్లు వేయాలి. అవసరానుసారం సీరియల్ నెంబర్లు మార్పు చేయవచ్చు.
