AP Revised PRC 2022
Automatic Advancement Scheme (AAS) Scales for Secondary Grade Teachers, School Assistants, and Grade-II Headmasters
Understanding the Automatic Advancement Scheme (AAS)
For government employees and teachers in Andhra Pradesh, the Automatic Advancement Scheme (AAS) provides financial relief and career progression opportunities for those facing stagnation due to limited promotional avenues.
Instead of waiting for vacancies, employees are automatically moved to higher pay scales after completing specific service periods: 6, 12, 18, and 24 years.
AAS Service Milestones
- Special Grade (6 Years): After 6 years of service, employees advance to the Special Grade with a higher pay scale.
- SPP-IA (12 Years): After 12 years, employees move to Special Promotion Post Scale I-A, matching their first-level promotion post's pay scale.
- SPP-IB (18 Years): After 18 years, employees receive an increment within their existing SPP-IA scale.
- SPP-II (24 Years): After 24 years, employees advance to Special Promotion Post Scale II, matching their second-level promotion post's pay scale.
