Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is a National Programme implemented by the Ministry for attraction of talent amongst students to study science and pursue career with research.
The basic objective of the programme is to communicate to the youth of the country the excitement of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study of science at an early age and thus build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the science and technology system and R&D base.
Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)" is an innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology for attraction of talent to Science. The basic objective of INSPIRE is to communicate to the youth of the country the excitements of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study of science at an early age and thus build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R&D base.
The programme was launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 13th December 2008. The implementation started during 2009-10.

Registrations చివరి తేది July 31st-2019. ముఖ్యాంశాలు
- ఒకసారి రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ అయిన పాఠశాల మరల చేయకూడదు.
- ఒకవేళ ఒకే పాఠశాల రెండు లెదా ఎక్కువ సార్లు రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ జరిగినట్లయిన మీ Application number, e-mail సరిచూసుకుని ఏదో ఒకదానిని ఉంచి మిగిలిన రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ ను తొలగించమని జిల్లా అధికారి / కో ఆర్డినేటర్ వారిని సంప్రదించాలి.
- ఎవరైనా మీ Inspire User ID , password మరచిపోతే వెంటనే మీ మీ డివిజన్ కోఆర్డినేటర్లను సంప్రదించి తెలుసుకోవాలి.
- students A/c numbers, aadhar numbers, DOB, Cast , Photo , Father & Mother names ను సిద్దంగా ఉoచుకోవాలి.
- ప్రతీ ఉన్నత పాఠశాల తప్పనిసరిగా 5 ప్రాజెక్టులు, ప్రాధమికోన్నత పాఠశాల 3 ప్రాజెక్టు లు nominate చేయాలి.
- పదవ తరగతి విద్యార్థులును Inspire కు దూరంగా ఉoచడo మంచిది.
- ఒకే తరగతి నుండి రెండు కంటే ఎక్కువ విద్యార్థులును nominate చేయవచ్చు.
- మీరు ఎంచుకున్న ప్రాజెక్టు వివరాలు PDF లేదా Word File సిద్ధంగా ఉంచుకోవాలి.
- INSPIRE Award (for 10-15 age group).
- INSPIRE Internship at a science camp with opportunity for interaction with global science leaders (for 16-17 age group).
- INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) @ Rs 80000/ per year for continuing education at B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels (for 17-22 age group).
- INSPIRE Fellowship for doctoral research (for 22-27 age group).
- INSPIRE faculty for assured career opportunity (for 27-32 age group).

FILLING THE NOMINATION FORM CORRECTLY HELPS IN PROPER EVALUATION ONLINE – REMEMBER ALL PROJECTS ARE FIRST SCREENED ONLINE, WITHOUT THE CHILD BEING PRESENT TO EXPLAIN THE PROJECT.
BASIC GUIDELINES FOR INSPIRE AWARDS
INSPIRE Award component of the INSPIRE program shall have following guidelines for its
implementation:
1. The Award for the students in the class of 6th to 10th Standards.
2. No examination in the identification process. Names of the Students will be nominated by the Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress.
3. One million awards in five years spread over to about 4.5 lakhs Middle & Secondary level schools in the country.
4. Each student will get an amount of Rs 10000 for making a Project and transportation cost for displaying the exhibits/ project in the exhibition.
5. There will exhibitions at the District Level, State Level, Regional level and National Level for displaying the best exhibit/project of each level. Separate budget provision will be made to District/ State for arranging the exhibition of projects of INSPIRE Awardees at District & State level.
Award money will be released directly to the Awardees by an arrangement with SBI.
6. The concerned State will provide the list of all Middle & Secondary level Schools including in Government/Government aided/Private etc.
7. Names of one selected student each from Classes 6th , 7th & 8th in one Group and 9th & 10th in another Group of each School with an indication of preferred one name from each Group, viz. 6th -8th Std. and 9th -10th Std. will be provided by the Headmaster/Headmistress/Principal of each School through respective State Education departments.
8. State Education Department will exercise their convenient method of selection of students from each school in the State. Both academic records of the student and exhibition/project done by the student would be preferred in the selection process.Criteria used by the State will be shared with DST.
9. DST shall bear the cost of organizing the Exhibitions at the District & State Level andalso make the necessary arrangements for engaging Scientists/Academicians as Jury in these Exhibitions.
