State Project Officer Andhrapradesh introduced a Program named BADI RUNAMTHIRCHUKUNDAM for Strengthening and Development of government Schools in the State through Donars , NRIs and Other people who interested to develop Schools in their Village

Loan (Runam) is an investment that must be repaid. The meaning of Badi Runam Teerchukundam is Lets pay for the benefit we gained by our schools in way of donations that will be utilized for arranging requirements of the schools. It will be a great opportunity to the school alumni for being a member of developing the school which is the starting point of development. Hence, it is a call of inviting donations in establishing a collective effort in strengthening of schools.

There is lot to be done for strengthening of schools which can be fulfilled with helping hands of the community. Partnership can bridge the gaps that must be fulfilled to cater quality education. Corporate Social Responsibility can act as a major fund provider for development of schools.

Some major issues for which the donations can be utilized for are

• Providing school infrastructure (Additional Classrooms, Toilets, Playground, Compound wall, Drinking water, Library, Computer lab, etc.).
• Sports material and Health equipments.
• Digital Classrooms & ICT.
• Awards to Students and Teachers at various levels.
• Organize need-based teacher trainings.
• Support to Divyangs.
• Promote Girl child education.
• Provide student scholarships.
• Provide teaching learning material and laboratories, etc.

How it works:

Donors can specify what the donation is meant for. The names and amount/material donated with details such as type of organization (whether the Donor Organization is a foundation, trust, institute and whether public, private, NGO, etc.), brief nature of activities, name of corresponding person/s for CSR activities with contact details (Address, Phone/Mobile, e-Mail, etc.) and corresponding details of expenditure will be documented and placed in the website.

State Project Director will guide on where and how to spend based on the request made by the donors and review expenditures incurred against each of the donations.
