National Science Seminar 2025: "Quantum Age Begins: Potentials and Challenges"

The Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has issued orders for conducting the National Science Seminar 2025 on the topic "Quantum Age Begins: Potentials and Challenges." This initiative, organized by the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bangalore, aims to foster scientific enquiry, analytical thinking, and communication skills among school students.
The seminar provides a platform for students to express scientific ideas effectively. Below are the key guidelines and schedule for the event, as outlined in the official proceedings.
Key Guidelines
- Participants shall be selected only from Government Management High Schools.
- From each school, two (2) toppers shall be nominated for participation in the seminar at the Mandal Level.
- The communication shall be in English only.
- Each participant shall make a presentation for 6 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Question–Answer session with the judges.
- Each participant will be asked three questions and must answer any two within the time limit.
- Each participant may use a maximum of five (5) visuals only i.e., Charts/Posters: Maximum size 850 mm × 600 mm, mounted in calendar style and PowerPoint Slides: Static slides only (.ppt/.pptx/.ppsx). No animations, videos, rollovers, or pop-ups are permitted.
- 3D models, animations, videos, and films in any form are strictly prohibited.

An amount of Rs.15,000 per district has been released under Science Activities for organizing the seminars at the district level. District Science Officers (DSOs) are responsible for monitoring activities at School, Mandal, and District levels, and submitting reports to the DEO and SCERT, AP.
