How to Add New Teachers (DSC) in School UDISE PLUS Login

This detailed step-by-step guide explains how to add newly recruited DSC teachers in the School UDISE PLUS login portal. Follow the below instructions carefully to complete the teacher registration process.

Step 1: Log in to the Teacher Module

  • Go to the UDISE Plus website and navigate to the Teacher Module.
  • Enter your School User Name, Password, and Captcha code to log in.

Step 2: Navigate to the Teaching Staff Section

  • After login, click on “Teaching or Non-Teaching…” from the available options.
  • Note: For new DSC teachers, do not use the “Import Staff” option (this is meant only for transfers). You must add them manually.
  • On the dashboard, open the Teaching Staff section and click on “Add Teaching Staff”.

Step 3: Complete the 3-Level Information Form

The form is divided into three levels. Enter all details carefully at each stage.

Level 1: Primary Information

  • Name in Capital Letters: Enter the teacher’s full name.
  • Gender: Select the correct option.
  • Date of Birth: Choose the date.
  • Staff Code of State: For new DSC teachers, enter the DSC Hall Ticket Number.
  • Social Category: Select (SC, ST, OBC, etc.).
  • Highest Academic Qualification: Select (e.g., PG).
  • Degree: Mention the degree (MA, MSc, MCom, etc.).
  • Highest Professional Qualification: Select (B.Ed, M.Ed, D.Ed).
  • Mobile Number: Enter a valid number used for official communication.
  • Email ID: Enter the personal email address.
  • Aadhaar Number: Enter the Aadhaar number.
  • Name as per Aadhaar: Must match the Aadhaar card exactly.
  • Subjects Studied: Indicate the level up to which the teacher studied subjects (10th, Graduate, PG).
  • Language: Specify the language studied.
  • Nature of Appointment: Select Regular.
  • Date of Joining in Service: Enter from appointment order.
  • Date of Joining in Present School: Enter the actual joining date in the school register.

After entering all details, click Save and Next, review the confirmation, and then click Confirm.

Level 2: Appointment & Teaching Profile

  • Type of Teacher / Post: Select (SGT, School Assistant, etc.).
  • Classes Taught: Choose classes (Primary, Pre-Primary, etc.).
  • Appointment For: Select level (Primary Teacher, TGT, etc.).
  • Appointed for Subject: Select the main subject (for SGT, choose “All Subjects”).
  • Main Subject Taught: Choose the main teaching subject.
  • On Deputation: Select No.

Click Save and Next to continue.

Level 3: Training & Other Details

  • Training Received: Select No or Not Required if not yet attended (CWSN, Computer Training, etc.).
  • Nishtha Training: Select No if not completed.
  • Languages: Select first, second, and third known languages.
  • Safety & Audit Training: Select No.
  • C-TET / S-TET Passed: Select Yes or No. If Yes, enter year of passing.
  • Computer Skills: Select Yes if capable of using a computer, laptop, or mobile.

Click Save and Next to finish this section.

Step 4: Final Confirmation

  • After completing all three levels, the teacher will be added to your Teaching Staff List.
  • Scroll down to confirm the teacher’s name and qualification details.
  • If the dashboard still shows the old teacher count, click the Refresh button to update.
  • The Aadhaar Verified status will initially appear as Pending. Verification can be done later from the dashboard.

Tip: Double-check all details before saving. Errors in Aadhaar name or joining dates may cause verification issues later.
