The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued orders to enhance the Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees. [cite: 3] This revision is effective from January 1, 2024.
Key DA Rate Revisions
The DA has been increased across different pay scales as detailed below:

Payment and Arrears
- The increased DA will be paid in cash along with the salary of October 2025, payable in November 2025.
- Arrears for the period from January 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, will be paid to the employees upon their exit from Government Service.
Who is Eligible?
This DA enhancement applies to:
- Employees of Zilla Parishads, Mandal Parishads, Municipalities, and other local bodies.
- Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of Aided Institutions, Polytechnics, and Universities drawing pay in the Revised Pay Scales of 2022, 2016, and 2006.
