ADMISSION INTO EAMCET MPC STREAM ANGRAU DEGREE COURSES


Admission into different M.P.C. Stream U.G. Courses (Farmers Quota only) in various Colleges of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur for the academic year 2019-20.

Note: The admission into the remaining 60% seats of ANGRAU will be taken up by the Convenor, AP EAMCET 2019 through Web based General Engineering Counseling. The candidates are requested to make Web options during General Engineering Counseling. Those who apply under Farmers Quota can also apply for general quota seats, if they desire.

For admission into Un-Reserved quota seats of Andhra Pradesh, the candidates of the Telangana State will have to  compete for the seats based on the ranks obtained in the       AP EAMCET 2019 conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State.

Eligibility:
A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:
  1. Mathematics
  2. Physical Sciences
Criteria for selection:

The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the AP EAMCET 2019. The candidates will be selected based on merit, presidential order, region and social status.

Age:

The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17
years of age on 31st December, 2019 of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Handicapped (Differentially abled) candidates.

Reservations:

Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from families of Agriculturist cum Rural Area (Farmers’ Quota):
  • The seats are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owing not less than 1 acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non- Municipal areas. If the land is owned by grandfather, grandmother or guardian or any other relations is not acceptable.
  • FORM-I: It is a proforma indicating the patta numbers and extent of land owned by the candidate / parents duly certified by the Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar with office seal recently (or) the candidate has to enclose attested xerox copies of pattadar pass book as an evidence of the extent of land.
  • Form-II: It is a proforma to be certified by the Head Master of the School with office seal recently that the candidate has studied for a minimum period of four years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from 1st class to 12th class / Intermediate (Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate).
  • Form-I and Form-II need to be filled in with the signatures of concerned officials viz., Mandal Revenue Officer / Tahsildar and concerned Head of Institution, respectively, along with office seal. Otherwise, the claim of the candidates under this category will be summarily
Reservation of Seats:

Backward Classes: 29% of seats are reserved under this category. (BC-A – 7% ; BC-B – 10% ; BC-C – 1% ; BC-D – 7%, BC-E – 4% )
Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 6%
Reservation of seats for Women: In each course, 33 1/3% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of women candidates from each category.

Allocation of seats in favour of Local candidates in relation to Local area:
  • Out of total intake, 15% of seats shall be Un- reserved (UR) for candidate from AU/SVU region. Candidates from Osmania University (OU) region (Telangana State), also can compete for these seats with AP EAMCET 2018
  • For the 85% of local seats, the seats shall be allocated in 42: 22 ratio in Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University, respectively among the candidates in relation to local area.

Allotment of seats during counseling process:

The allotment of seats will be done during open manual counseling. The dates and venue for the counseling will be notified later in newspapers /website. The candidates who submit application form with all enclosures including the demand draft will be called for counseling for allotment of seats based on merit.

Fee: The particulars of fees for first semester are given hereunder for ready reference. The candidates who are granted admission shall pay the prescribed fee at the time of joining the college and hostel.

NOTE: Fee once paid to the University shall not be refunded at any time. In addition, the candidate has to pay the cancellation fee if the candidate leaves the institution.

Original certificates to be produced at the time of Admission:

The candidates granted admission, should at the time of admission submit the following certificates in Original.
  1. Pass Certificate-cum-Memorandum of Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate)
  2. Hall Ticket & Rank Card of AP EAMCET
  3. SSC or equivalent examination
  4. The Community Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, signed by the competent authority.
  5. Bonafide or Study certificates. (VI to XII)
  6. Residence Certificate, if
  7. Transfer Certificate from the College or School where the candidate last
Candidates called for counseling shall have to attend at their own cost. Only one Parent/Guardian of the candidate will be allowed for counseling.

NOTE:
The candidates are informed that only 40% seats for B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) and B.Tech. (Food Technology) in ANGRAU and under Farmers quota will be filled up by ANGRAU calling for applications through this notification and through open manual counseling later.

Other general seats will be filled up by Convener, AP EAMCET 2019 through Web-based counseling conducted for engineering courses. Hence the candidates, who want to compete under general quota may go for options in web-based counseling for engineering courses.
For the convenience of the candidates, the farmers’ quota seats will be filled up through open manual counseling after allotment of general seats through web-based counseling by the Convener, AP EAMCET 2019.
