Hostel facility shall be provided subject to the availability of accommodation.
Fee:
The candidates who are granted admission shall pay the prescribed fee at the time of joining the college and hostel.
Note: Fees once paid to the University shall not be refunded under any circumstances. If a candidate cancels his / her admission at any time, He / she shall pay seat cancellation fee of Rs.2,800/- for General Category or Rs.1,400/- for SC/ST/PH category.

Criteria for selection:
- The candidates shall be selected based on merit in optional subjects of the two year Intermediate Examination as per the rule of reservation. In case of other equivalent examinations passed by the candidates, the weightage of marks obtained in optional subjects shall be reckoned on a par with those of the two year Intermediate examination.
- In case of a tie in aggregate marks obtained by two or more candidates, the marks secured in the Intermediate (10+2) shall be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidates shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference for the

- The candidates for admission to this course in the University shall be required to have completed 17 years of age on the 31st of December, 2019 of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Challenged (Differentially abled)
Reservation of seats for the candidates from Rural Areas:
- 40% of the seats in this course are reserved for candidates coming from rural areas. Candidates seeking admission under this category should produce a certificate(s) from the Heads of Institutions that the candidate has studied for a period of minimum 4 years in the schools located in Non-Municipal areas during their period of study from the 1st class to the 12th class / Intermediate (any four years). The relevant information has to be filled in the proforma as prescribed in Form-I of the application from duly signed by the Head of the Institution
- If the certificate referred to above has not filled in the proforma in application form duly signed by the concerned Head of Institution or Officer mentioned above along with office seal, the claim of the candidates under this category will be

- Out of total intake, 15% of seats shall be Un- reserved (UR). For these seats any candidate from AU/SVU region can compete with intermediate marks of A.P. Candidates from Osmania University (OU) region (Telangana State), also are eligible to compete for these seats with intermediate marks of Telangana
- Admission to 85% of the seats, the seats shall be allocated in of 42: 22 ratio in Andhra University and Sri Venkateswara University, respectively among the candidates in relation to local

Original certificates to be produced at the time of Counseling:
The candidate who secures a seat, should submit the following certificates in Original at the time of joining the college.
- Two conduct certificates one from the College or School where the candidate last studied and the other from an officer of the State Government or any other respectable
- Transfer Certificate from the College or School where the candidate last
- Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination (Intermediate / 3years Diploma in Home Science)
- The Community Certificate in the case of candidates belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, signed by the competent authority.
- Three passport size
- An Income Certificate of father / mother signed by any Officer not below the rank of the Mandal Revenue Officer of the Revenue Department of the Mandal concerned.
- Physical fitness certificate issued by a Govt. Doctor not below the rank of Assistant Civil
- Candidates called for counseling shall have to attend at their own cost.
