ORDER:-

In the Letter read above, the Director of Municipal Administration, A.P, Guntur on the

representations of Teacher M.L.Cs and certain Teacher Associations on their certain demands,

among others, viz., delegation of the powers of Head Masters / Head Mistress of Municipal

Schools, etc, has furnished proposals to Government to take further necessary action and

issue orders with regard to the extending the delegation of powers to Head Masters / Head

Mistress of Municipal Schools under Urban Local Bodies in terms of G.O.Ms.40,

Dated.07.05.2002 issued by the School Education Department.

2. Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby decided to accept the

proposed delegation of powers to the Head Masters / Head Mistresses of A.P. Municipal

Education Subordinate Services working in Municipal High Schools and accordingly hereby

delegate the following powers, which are non-financial in nature, to the Head Masters / Head

Mistresses of Municipal High Schools working in the Urban Local Bodies in the State.

I. Condone the age relaxation to 7th and 10th Class students,

II. Change the Media / Language to the students,

III. Condone the shortage of attendance to the students and

IV. Admit the students from ICSE / CBSE syllabus or other syllabi to state syllabus.

3. These delegation of powers shall come into force with immediate effect.
