ANDHRA PRADESH STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (APSET) 2025

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam has released the official notification for APSET 2025 on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
APSET is a mandatory eligibility test for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors / Lecturers in Universities and Colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోని విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు మరియు కళాశాలల్లో అసిస్టెంట్ ప్రొఫెసర్ / లెక్చరర్ కావాలనుకునే అభ్యర్థులకు ఇది తప్పనిసరి అర్హత పరీక్ష.

- Notification Release: 02 January 2026 – నోటిఫికేషన్ విడుదల
- Online Applications Start: 09 January 2026 – దరఖాస్తులు ప్రారంభం
- Last Date (No Late Fee): 09 February 2026
- Last Date (₹2000 Late Fee): 25 February 2026
- Last Date (₹5000 Late Fee): 05 March 2026
- Hall Ticket Release: 19 March 2026 (Tentative)
- Exam Dates: 28 & 29 March 2026
✅ Eligibility Criteria | అర్హతలు
- General / EWS: 55% marks (without rounding off)
- BC / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: 50% marks
- Master’s Degree or equivalent is mandatory
- Final Year PG students can apply provisionally
- No Upper Age Limit – గరిష్ట వయస్సు పరిమితి లేదు
- Exam must be written only in PG subject (30 subjects)
📝 Application Fee | దరఖాస్తు ఫీజు
- General: ₹1650/-
- BC / EWS: ₹1300/-
- SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: ₹900/-
Fee must be paid online and is non-refundable.

📚 Exam Pattern (CBT Mode) | పరీక్ష విధానం
- Paper I: Teaching & Research Aptitude – 50 Questions – 100 Marks – 1 Hour
- Paper II: Subject Paper – 100 Questions – 200 Marks – 2 Hours
- Total: 150 Questions – 300 Marks – 3 Hours
- No Negative Marking – నెగటివ్ మార్కులు లేవు
Qualifying Marks:
General / EWS – 40%
BC / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender – 35%
